Since most of this research is about my mother’s side of the family (many early settlers of New England), I remain maternally grateful.

Have you run across the name Alexander Murphey born in 1690 in Ireland died in Straban township, York County, PA 5-19-1759. He is at the top of my family tree and I can’t find where in Ireland he was born and did he and his brother James (also born in Ireland) come over together and where they landed and lived before moving to PA
Any information would be wonderful.
Cynthia
Sorry, Cynthia, I haven’t seen any information on this.
Hi Carla,
For years I questioned the relationship between the Estys and the Fiskes and could never confirm that yes the magistrates and the witches were connected.!
What a great site you have!
Jackie
Your site has some great Coffin information – do you know anything about Horatio, Ira and Susan Coffin? They were siblings who appear on the scene in the 1790′s to early 1800′s in Eastern PA and Western NJ.
Many thanks!
