Where I’m From

How fun it is to research my family history.  Perhaps my discoveries help bring light to who I am and the family that contributed to. . .me.  I can get lost in the past and I certainly have come to appreciate it, honor it. But truly it is so much more important to be in the present, it is a gift, you know!

To learn a little bit more about who I am you might wish to read my poem “Where I’m From.

  1. Have you run across the name Alexander Murphey born in 1690 in Ireland died in Straban township, York County, PA 5-19-1759. He is at the top of my family tree and I can’t find where in Ireland he was born and did he and his brother James (also born in Ireland) come over together and where they landed and lived before moving to PA
    Any information would be wonderful.

  2. Hi Carla,
For years I questioned the relationship between the Estys and the Fiskes and could never confirm that yes the magistrates and the witches were connected.!
What a great site you have!

  3. Your site has some great Coffin information – do you know anything about Horatio, Ira and Susan Coffin? They were siblings who appear on the scene in the 1790’s to early 1800’s in Eastern PA and Western NJ.

    Many thanks!
